Located about a 15-minute drive from Samui International Airport, the resort is set on a vast 23-hectare site that was once a coconut plantation, with villas scattered in harmony with the sea and greenery - a special world that will make you forget your everyday life.
This time, we bring you a blog about the real experience of staying at a villa. In the first part, we will focus on the facilities that captivated us from the first day of our stay and the superb experience we had at the villa.
Check-in | Hospitality that stimulates all five senses as your journey begins
Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted with a vibrant butterfly pea welcome drink and tropical floral decorations. From that moment on, the Ritz-Carlton hospitality began.
The lobby is a fantastical space where natural light pours in and an elephant sculpture floats on a water basin. The design combines the mysticism unique to Southeast Asia with modernity, instantly raising expectations for your trip.
After checking in, we were taken around the facility in a private buggy, visiting each spot, and the sheer grandeur of the experience took our breath away. With the blue sea of Koh Samui in front of us, the quiet feeling of "an extraordinary experience that can only be had here" slowly spread deep within our hearts.
Villa Stay | Enjoy the luxury of tranquility and openness in the Ultimate Pool Villa
This time, I was upgraded to the "Ultimate Pool Villa" as an elite benefit.
Among the all-suite rooms, this villa boasts an impressive 97m² of space and an overwhelming sense of privacy. When I opened the front door, I was greeted with a heartwarming surprise: coconut juice and a birthday cake bearing the Ritz logo. It is these small details that create the special feeling that only a Ritz-Carlton can offer.
Private pool and balcony | A special seat where you can become one with the sky and sea
The highlight of the villa is undoubtedly the private infinity pool and spacious balcony with ocean view. You can fully enjoy the luxury of simply spending time on the daybed or sofa in front of the spectacular view where the sea and sky blend together.
Reading or taking a nap while gazing at the turquoise blue ocean stretching out before you is a blissful moment that lets you forget about your daily life. As I floated in the pool and gazed at the endless horizon, I felt like even the passage of time was becoming calmer.
Bathroom | A relaxing space with an open feel, overlooking the ocean from the bathtub
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with double sinks. Proceeding to the back, you will find an ocean-view bathtub through the glass.
As I immersed myself in the bath, the ocean and sky that filled the entire window enveloped me, and I felt as if I had wandered into a spa that was one with nature. I spent a blissful bath time, feeling as if my mind and body were being gently relaxed. This sense of openness is a special experience that can only be had during a resort stay.
Main Pool | A fulfilling resort space that satisfies all ages
The main pool, which stretches out along the beachfront, is lined with tropical white parasols, and the best reward is spending time relaxing with a smoothie or cocktail in hand.
Sunscreen with different SPF levels and even body care products are available by the pool, and the attention to detail in the service is typical of the Ritz.
The resort's private swim reef offers the opportunity to snorkel with tropical fish, making it an attractive spot where even children can enjoy the sea safely.
Furthermore, the kids' room was impressive, and despite being a luxury resort, it has a family-friendly environment. There were many Japanese guests during our stay, which was a pleasant discovery, and gave us a sense of security.

My stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui was an experience of the luxury of doing nothing, surrounded by a design that blends in with nature, tranquility, and luxurious spaciousness.
From check-in to staying in the villa, to the pool and snorkeling, each experience was carefully layered, making me feel relaxed just by being here - I was able to spend a fulfilling time that is unique to a resort.
The sense of privacy of the villas scattered across the vast grounds, and the design that allows you to feel one with the sea - all of this comes together in harmony to create an unforgettable stay.
