In our last blog post, we introduced our luxurious stay in a villa with a private pool. This time, we'll focus on the restaurant and dining experiences that further enriched our stay. From elegant breakfasts overlooking the ocean to fiery beach BBQs, we'll share our experiences of the resort's gourmet cuisine, along with our own impressions.
Banana Leaf | A relaxing morning in the sunshine
Enjoying breakfast in the quiet morning air is an important time to fully savor the afterglow of your trip.
At the Banana Leaf restaurant, you'll be greeted by a bright, light-filled dining space and a carefully selected breakfast menu.
The menu is not particularly extensive, but the careful attention paid to each dish stands out - it is the very definition of luxury that will make you forget your busy everyday life.
The made-to-order pancakes, waffles, and French toast are delivered fresh, and their fragrant aroma energizes you for the day. What I particularly liked was the porridge, which is made with different ingredients every morning. It was soothing and soothing to the mind and body , helping to soothe the fatigue of travel. In addition, the menu also includes spicy Thai curry and light, easy-to-eat noodles , making it a satisfying choice even when you want a light meal.
Banana Leaf is open not only for breakfast but also from 6:00 to 23:00, so you can use it anytime during your stay, which is a great feature.
It's a safe place to stop by after sightseeing or enjoying the pool. The shrimp Caesar salad I had for lunch was filled with plump shrimp and crispy bacon. It was a very satisfying dish with plenty of volume. And I'll never forget the cocktails I had during my stay. The refreshing taste, along with the tropical breeze, made me feel like I was finally at a resort. Every time I sipped my glass, I was reminded that I was really at the resort.
TawaNN｜ Enjoy a blissful dinner while looking out at the sea
At dusk, restaurant "tawaN" transforms into a setting for an elegant dinner with a fantastic sunset view .
Sitting at a table with the sound of waves in the background and fragrant aromas wafting through the air, watching the sun sink over the sea, was truly an exquisite experience that can only be enjoyed at a resort.
The lamb chops are grilled right before your eyes, and are cooked to perfection, as if the chef's passion is poured into them. With just one bite, the juices and rich aroma dance in your mouth , making you lose track of time.
And there's the Thai crab curry, which you can only find on this island. When I mixed the thin rice noodles with the rich, creamy sauce and took a bite, the depth of the spices and the umami of the seafood came together, bringing a smile to my face. It was a special dish that could only be enjoyed while traveling, and an experience that satisfied all five senses.
Pool Bar | A magical night spent with the stars reflected on the water
As the night progressed, The Pool Bar on the pool side will be enveloped in fantastic lights, creating a romantic atmosphere. The light swaying on the water, the soothing background music, and the scent of the sea carried by the sea breeze - from the moment you sit down, you can sense the start of a special evening.
The best part is the happy hour, held twice a day. When you order a cocktail, you get a free one, which makes it easy to stay longer. The refreshing mojitos and tropical cocktails added a pleasant touch to the evening by the pool.
The food was also substantial and perfect for dinner. We shared Thai soup and spicy dishes, sipping our drinks and enjoying the luxurious moment that really relaxed our minds.
BBQ Dinner | An unforgettable evening feast with flames and the sound of waves
The BBQ dinner, held only on Thursday nights, begins with the aroma of smoke drifting across the beach. As you sit at a table lit by torches and listen to the sounds of the waves in the background, you'll be enveloped in the relaxed atmosphere that only a resort can offer.
The appetizers start with colorful salads and Thai dishes, followed by fresh seafood and meat dishes, such as freshly grilled lobster and juicy grilled meats, all of which are sure to whet your appetite.
And then there was the fire dance show that lit up the night sky - the flames danced, and so did our hearts. Spending time admiring the beauty with a drink in hand was a magical evening that can only be experienced on this island .

Memorable hospitality from staff
What made my stay at this hotel even more special were the warm smiles of the staff. From the moment I checked in, I felt the fatigue of my long journey ease away as I was greeted with a "Welcome" in my eyes.
Even at the restaurant, the staff noticed what I wanted before I even had a chance to say it, and handed it to me, giving me a comfortable sense of security. What particularly impressed me was at breakfast. They remembered that I had ordered watermelon juice two days in a row, and on the third day they asked with a smile, "Watermelon juice again today, right?" This small gesture of consideration made my trip even more comfortable.

Our dining experience at Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa was a special time where we were able to fully enjoy the culinary luxury that only a resort can offer .
From breakfast bathed in the gentle morning light, to a blissful dinner overlooking the sea, to a beach BBQ with dancing flames - each has its own unique charm, but all are memorable gourmet experiences in harmony with the nature of Koh Samui.
Above all, the warm attention of the staff made every meal even more special. As a resort where you can relax , Renaissance Koh Samui also provided satisfaction beyond expectations in terms of food.
