Enjoy gourmet dining at The St. Regis Bali
share
In the previous article, " The St. Regis Bali: The Ultimate Oasis ," we introduced the facilities and rooms at The St. Regis Bali. This time, we will introduce the restaurant.
We will write about breakfast at Boneka, which offers an appealing made-to-order à la carte menu packed with high-quality ingredients; Sunday brunch at the white Kayuputi overlooking the Indian Ocean, where caviar and champagne dance; The St. Regis Bar, famous for its sabrage sounds made with a kris dagger; and royal cuisine at Dulang, which is accompanied by gamelan and Balinese dance.
Breakfast at Boneka, luxurious à la carte
Breakfast is served at the restaurant "Boneka." This restaurant goes beyond the bounds of a buffet and focuses on à la carte dishes that can be ordered at the table. A fluffy and creamy omelet packed with the delicious flavor of lobster, a fried egg layered with crispy foie gras—a luxurious morning experience beyond imagination is easily achieved.
The dish that caught my eye was the "Egg Nouvelle." A lobster ragout hidden inside a small eggshell, garnished with green asparagus cream and salmon roe, the contrast between its pretty appearance and rich flavor is irresistible.
Breakfast is included in the room rate at The St. Regis Bali, so be sure to take your time and enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee.
Kayuputi - Sunday brunch overlooking the Indian Ocean
Kayuputi is the iconic dining restaurant at The St. Regis Bali, overlooking the ocean in Nusa Dua.
The Sunday brunch here is extremely popular and reservations are required.
Start the day with a leisurely aperitif at 11:00, then quench your thirst with a St. Regis-exclusive Bloody Mary.
From noon onwards, the chef will go around the tables serving freshly cooked dishes one after another.
Caviar, oysters, wagyu beef, and a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean!
Kayuputi's Sunday brunch is one of Bali's finest gastronomic experiences.
Enjoy a champagne sabrage at The St. Regis Bar
As the afternoon fades into night, people begin to gather at The St. Regis Bar, located next to the lobby. The sommelier wields not a Western sabre, but a traditional Indonesian dagger called a kris. The blade, modeled after a Balinese myth, severs the seam between the champagne cork and glass, sending bubbles shooting up with a clear sound—this is the bar's evening ritual.
Dulang - Royal Balinese cuisine in a tropical garden setting
Dulang is located inside a carved gazebo. Its name comes from the round wooden trays known as "dulang," which were once used on the dining tables of royalty.
You can enjoy authentic Balinese cuisine made with local ingredients and traditional flavors that capture the essence of Balinese culture.
The meal begins with a live Rindik gamelan performance, followed by a Balinese dance performance. Enjoy a feast for the senses, combining royal cuisine and art, unique to Bali.
