Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ocean Fuji Miyakojima/Taiwan Cruise Experience | Dining and Bar Experience with Food and Relaxation

Mealtime becomes a special moment, accompanied by the rhythm of the graceful flow of the sea.
Japan's pride and joy, the cruise ship Ocean Fuji, offers a wide variety of dining and bar options to enhance your travel experience.

Four restaurants, one cafe, two bars...
What they all have in common is the careful taste and delicate hospitality that is unique to Japanese ships .
Basically, it's an inclusive system (included in the price), so you can enjoy a luxurious meal without worrying about additional charges.

The Restaurant Fuji | The main dining of your trip

Fuji is the ship's main dining area, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
A Japanese-Western fusion menu changes daily, and dishes tailored to the day's route and the season adorn the table.

The evening course dinner in particular is so well-made that it's hard to believe it's on the ocean.
The delicate flavors of seasonal ingredients are complemented by a pairing of carefully selected wines.

Elegant white interior with a large window overlooking the sea.
Both of these factors elevate your meal here to the "main event of your trip."

Terrace Restaurant HACHIYO | Casual buffet with sea breeze

"Yahyou" is a buffet restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
There isn't too much variety, and each dish is carefully prepared.

Breakfast is especially recommended.
Compared to the set menu at the main dining room "Fuji," there is more freedom to choose from, and you can enjoy something light or substantial depending on your mood.

On fine days, we enjoyed the sea breeze on the terrace at the stern.
The aroma of coffee sipped while gazing out at the sea is the perfect description of "morning time on the ocean."

Poolside Restaurant & Bar Lakeside | Enjoy a luxurious lunch under the blue sky

Located next to the pool, Lakeside is an open dining area where you can casually enjoy light meals such as pizza and burgers.

The day before returning to Naha, a special lunch buffet featuring roast beef and steak will be served.
A dish to enjoy surrounded by sunlight and sea breeze.
It was a fitting reward to end the final day of the cruise.

After dinner, enjoy a cocktail at the poolside bar.
The time spent surrounded by the soft light of the early afternoon is a moment that embodies the luxury of doing nothing.

Hokusai FINE DINING | A special evening supervised by Chef Mikuni Seizo

Hokusai is a French restaurant that is open only in the evenings and requires reservations, and is overseen by world-renowned chef Mikuni Kiyomi.
This luxurious style allows you to choose as many appetizers, soups, main courses and desserts as you like, from amuse-bouche to petit fours.

Each dish, including the sea urchin appetizer, is highly refined, giving you the satisfaction of "the more you order, the more you get."
Drinks are generally inclusive, just like at other restaurants.

A special dinner time for adults, with the quiet sounds of the waves and the sound of glasses clinking together.
As seats are limited, we recommend making your reservation early on the first day of boarding.

MITSUI OCEAN Square | Surrounded by the aroma of reading and coffee

MITSUI OCEAN Square is a cafe and library space perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Spending time quietly reading a book with finger food or snacks in hand is the very epitome of an adult cruise.
Gazing at the ocean flowing outside the window creates a space in your mind that gives you a little break from your everyday life.

Nighttime bar time | Two spaces to enjoy a night on the ocean

Observation Bar 36 (Sanroku)

"36" is a quiet bar that is open only in the evenings.
As you listen to the piano accompaniment, you will feel as if the boundary between the sea and the stars is melting away.
Recommended for those who want to relax and enjoy a high-quality cocktail.

Ocean Club & Bar

On the other hand, this is a space for enjoying a glamorous evening.
There are band performances and dance parties, and passengers naturally interact with each other, creating lots of smiles.
Music and alcohol will add a dramatic touch to your nights on the road.

Port of Call - A day in the exotic city of Keelung, Taiwan

We enjoyed our stay on board at our port of call in Miyakojima, and then disembarked in Keelung, Taiwan, to enjoy sightseeing.
In Keelung, Taiwan, experience a sightseeing plan that includes visiting the National Palace Museum, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and the changing of the guard at the Martyrs' Shrine.

You can enjoy a close look at masterpieces such as the jade "Chinese Cabbage"
I was able to experience Taiwan's history and culture firsthand.

For lunch, enjoy delicious Xiaolongbao at the famous restaurant Din Tai Fung.
It's a popular restaurant that usually has a two-hour wait, but the appeal is that you can get in smoothly through the cruise-only tour slots.
Although it was a short stay, it was a day where I was able to fully experience the passion and kindness of Taiwan.

Summary | The luxury of "time spent traveling by sea"

The time you spend at Ocean Fuji
It was a journey that made me feel like my heart was slowly unraveling along with the vast ocean.

Quiet mornings on the balcony, heart-warming dinners, and the warm hospitality of the staff...
All of this gently envelops you as you spend your time at sea.

A classical space that is more calming than flashy.
The closer I got to the end of my trip, the more I felt like returning to this sea.

A trip with Ocean Fuji is a "relaxing experience" that goes beyond luxury.
With the horizon stretching out endlessly,
Even time slowly melts away...
Here you can find such a "cruise that will relax your soul."
