1. Basic information about additional cards

There are two types of add-on cards that can be issued with the American Express Business Platinum Card.

・Additional card (with bonuses)
→ You can use the same "travel, airport, and hotel benefits" as the main member. Additional card (no benefits)
→ Statement and payment functions only (no travel benefits)

・Additional cards (with special benefits)... Up to 4 cards have no annual fee. 5th card and onwards... Business Gold equivalent (annual fee of 13,200 yen/tax included per card)
・Additional card without benefits: No annual fee

2. Airport lounge benefits

The Amex Business Platinum add-on card also gives you access to lounges around the world.

2-1 | Priority Pass (over 1,300 worldwide)

Priority Pass membership cards can be issued for additional cards (with special benefits) and can be used under the same conditions as the main card.

[What is Priority Pass?]
A membership-based service that allows access to over 1,300 airport lounges both in Japan and overseas. While it varies by location, lounges offer food and beverage services, Wi-Fi, relaxation spaces, and more.

2-2 | Centurion Lounge

This is a special place that only Platinum Card members and above can access. It can be used by simply presenting your card, regardless of the type of ticket or airline. Additional cards (with special benefits) can also be used under the same conditions as the main cardholder.

[What is the Centurion Lounge?]
These popular special lounges are operated by American Express around the world. They offer a wide selection of high-quality food and drinks, and many locations are equipped with showers. They offer a sophisticated, relaxing atmosphere, and facilities vary by airport, including workspaces and family spaces.

2-3｜Domestic affiliated airport lounges

You can use card lounges at major airports across Japan, including Narita, Haneda, Kansai, Chubu, and more.

3. A delivery service that gives you the freedom to travel empty-handed

With the Business Platinum Additional Card (with benefits),
You can take advantage of baggage delivery benefits that will significantly reduce the burden before and after your trip.

3-1 | Free baggage delivery service (international round trip, up to 2 pieces free )

3-2 | Same-day baggage delivery service to the hotel (1 item free)

This service allows you to leave your luggage at the counter of a designated station during reception hours and have it delivered to the designated hotel on the same day.

・Applicable stations: Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, Hakata Station ・Number of items that can be delivered: Up to 1 item (within 160cm on all three sides / up to 20kg)

4. The luxury of sharing a "premium member's stay" at a hotel

Additional card members (with benefits) can have premium hotel status in their own name. Benefits vary greatly depending on the hotel brand and hotel.

4-1 | Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite

You will be awarded Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status, which is normally earned by staying at Marriott hotels 25 or more nights per year.

Travel insurance

If you have an additional card (with benefits), you will receive the same coverage as the primary cardholder. In addition, the additional cardholder's family members will also be covered, just like the primary cardholder.
However, the following applies only if the travel fare is paid for by card. If the travel fare is not paid for by card, compensation will not be provided to additional card members and their families. (The primary card member will be covered even if no payment is made.)
