On this trip, we travelled directly from the Marriott Resort on Perhentian Island to Redang Island.
We used a shared boat from Merang Jetty (150 ringgits per person/credit cards accepted as of August 2025).
The door-to-door journey between hotels takes approximately 1.5 hours, significantly reducing travel time compared to the standard route of "sea + land + sea" (approximately 4 hours).

We departed from the Perhentian Marriott pier at 9am and arrived at Laguna pier at 10:30am. This direct access from island to island is truly a luxurious route.
Along the way, you'll stop at other resorts, giving you the feeling of being on a small boat trip.

However, since it is a small speedboat, it does rock quite a bit, so if you are prone to motion sickness, it is recommended that you take motion sickness medicine and wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet to protect yourself from the spray of the waves.
